Have a Happy New Year!

Hey, everyone. My family is scattered between New York and Virginia so I'm actually still celebrating Christmas - we like to get to everyone this time of year even if not technically on Christmas - but I wanted to wish you all a very Happy New Year.
2013 was pretty ace and I can't wait to see what 2014 has in store for all of us together. I haven't said it enough: if you're reading this, you mean the world to me. Let's do this.

See you on the flip side, lovers.

This is intermediate pattern mixing. It works because the patterns are both super graphic and simple. We've got pseudo-pattern with the cable knit in the sweater but it adds visual interest without competing with either pattern. You can generally combine a black and white print with any other print, no matter how bold, and it will just make sense. Try it.
