Loot: Building the Perfect Fall Wardrobe Secondhand

I've mentioned before that I start building/refreshing my fall wardrobe during the summer. Here are some more additions that I think will look fresh and modern in my wardrobe this season.

I did have a fair amount of color going on in my shoe closet from last year so no guilt over all this black...

And loving the extra pointy toe now that I'm adding in some single sole pumps. I don't want to give up any visual length. And how adorably quirky are those Kenneth Cole golf shoes? Perfect way to drag all the black and white we're seeing everywhere into the fall with us, n'est-ce pas?

But what I've really been feeling for a while now is gold. Every shade of gold. I want it all over me. And it has been easy to find at tag sales. Try it.

Persian lamb clutch

You guys. I don't. Even. It's enormous. It's a muff. It's a clutch. It has a drawstring so you can hold it that way, too. I'm in love. Have a look inside:

Also scored this amazingly busy Moschino blazer (thanks to my sister-in-law, who knew only I could love something this "hideous"). ;) Normally hard to rock a blazer this long when you're this petite but challenge accepted.

I wanted to briefly let you all know my cat, Arsenic, had to be put to sleep last week. She was my sweet baby girl and I'm having a hard time with it so it may take me a little time to get back on track. She loved the camera. :) Thanks so much for reading.

  1. We miss Arsenic, who was an improvement to any fashion photo and a good friend.

  2. <3 Thanks. She was both of those things for sure.

  3. Oh no! Such a sad day when you have to put down a family pet...I'm sorry to hear about your cat ;(
