The Land of Milk and Honey

I've been meaning to wear this crazy dress.

Apr 14, 2011

I remember when I brought it home. Hubbs made those eyes - the ones that say it's time to cart me off to the funny farm. What can I say, though? I love it.

And did I mention it has pockets? Is there anything on the planet NOT made better by pockets? This whole outfit cost me $30. $1 for the dress, $14 for the necklace (by Napier but even jewelers ask me if it's gold!), $15 for the Furla bag, the shoes were free hand-me-downs from a cousin.

Anyone else like over-the-top patterns?

  1. I LOVE it on you, looks great! You really know your style and know what pieces work for you and how to wear them, I'm envious! I would never be bold enough to try a print like this! Just a great outfit on you <3

  2. I love it! It looks great on you, too.

  3. I'm with you. The dress is gorgeous and the hubs just doesn't understand fashion. Par for the course for men I think.

  4. Thanks. @Judy C - My Hubbs is actually pretty good about enjoying fashion most of the time. But he inevitably finds the weirder things too difficult to envision, I guess.

  5. I love, love it.I new you were unique the first time I set my eyes on you.

  6. oooh, that dress is so gorgeous. What a great buy for only $1! :) Love your hair, too.

  7. You pull off over-the-top prints so well--love this look! I love your relationship with your husband, you two are too cute!
    P.S. Love those shoes!

Let's dance.
